Become a FRIEND! Established in 2007 to mark the Museum's 10th anniversary, the annual Women of Distinction event reminds us of Georgia O'Keeffe's legacy of individualism, self-determination, and brilliance. Past honorees from contemporary American culture who share those qualities indluce journalist Gail Sheehy an Associat Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

On March 7th the Museum will welcome the 2009 honoree to Santa Fe: Gloria Steinem. The proceeds from Ms. Steinem's talk and reception will support the Museum's eleven-year-old Art and Leadership Program for Girls.

In this way, FRIENDS and the Women of Distinction series honor the history of women's achievements while helping to seed future ones.

We are glad you have decided to visit the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum. Please note: Youth and children under 18 years of age are free.  Admission tickets are non-refundable. If you have any questions, please contact the Visitor Services desk at 505.946.1000. The Museum is open every day from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and until 8pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday this summer. The Museum will be closed from September 13-23 for exhibition change. During this time, we offer tours of our Research Center which houses many of O’Keeffe’s drawings, art materials and personal effects. For more tour information, please call 505-946-1000. We will reopen to the public on September 24. Also, the Museum is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's day, and closes at 3:00 pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Your receipt is your admission ticket; no other ticket will be mailed. You do not need to reserve your admission ticket for a specific date or time however tickets are good for one admission day only.  Purchases online of only Admission tickets will not be subject to any shipping charges at check out.
